A commissioned painting by Jamie is a great idea if
1. You like a previous painting and want it in a different size to fit your home or budget. The commission is created using the same photographs and sketches as the original painting - the original work is not consulted - and is therefore a unique painting.
2. You have a photograph of a special place - cottage, forest, family home, etc. - that you would like depicted as an oil painting.
3. You would like a series of paintings.
Jamie is happy to discuss commissions of any size and subject matter. He has done commissions ranging in size from 14x11 inches to 6x8 feet for a variety spaces ranging from bedrooms to office waiting rooms.
COMMISSIONS PROCESS
The commission process is designed to ensure you and Jamie create the painting you envision.
STEP ONE: You meet with Jamie to discuss the painting. You may have a photo you would like depicted or a
specific size or budget?
STEP TWO: You are provided with a quote contract outlining the commission price and timeline.
Once the contract is signed and deposit paid, Jamie begins the commission.
STEP THREE: If necessary, a small oil painting study will be produced. You will meet with Jamie and review the study painting.
The final commission will be based on the accepted study painting.
STEP FOUR: The completed commission will be delivered to you framed or unframed.
It's a simple schedule that produces a fantastic end result - your cherished painting.
